Our Mission at Upstate Watercraft Promotions, Inc. is to promote the positive image of Personal Watercrafts (PWC) by communicating and educating International American Power Boating Association (APBA) members as well as all PWC enthusiasts on the fun, safe, responsible use of PWCs. This includes, navigational and local boating laws, which we encourage all riders to obey the local, state and federal regulations.
UWP promotes organized and supervised PWC events in a professional manner. All of our events are sanctioned by the APBA, which serves as an international governing and sanctioning body for Personal Watercraft Racing and the American Watercraft Association for our Recreational Events.
UWP is located within Region 8 (as defined by the IJSBA) in Rochester, NY. Region 8 is located in the Northeast and includes 13 states: New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
